DetailsMacrocystis or Giant Kelp is to me one of the most beautiful plants. The rivulets on the fronds have fascinated me since my first trip to the beach as a child. I continue to pick them up dry or fresh. My son who surfs, brought me several pieces fresh from the ocean that I used ( after a somewhat complicated process that involved making rubber kelp) to make this panel as well as 2 different mirror designs.
