DetailsWe eat these huge thistles, but rarely see the beautiful leaves. I grew this artichoke plant in a container on my back deck and noticed the elaborate leaves. In the photo of the large panel you see the full artichoke plus two baby size ones near the top. Unfortunately all were sacrificed to make the finished product. I did try cooking them, but they were a bit tough. Blindspot brings out the elaborate detail on the arching branches and veined leaves. See the image of our artichoke panel to get the full picture.
